shut the front door!

i've been scrapbooking.  it's all the laundry i haven't had to do due to the lack of washing machine.  lol.  and i've been laughing at this commercial!

so, here is a bit of what i've been working on lately.  :)
ETA: after the traveling & company & more company coming this weekend,  i declared monday and tuesday to be do nothing days!  that is the only reason i have gotten so many layouts done!  i swear i DO do other things!  :)

i am doing the kelly purkey sketchbook class over at studio calico.  these are my lo's from the 1st sketch:
my take on the original sketch
my take on stephanie howell's sketch

my take on stephanie wheeler's take on the sketch. (this is on kraft ; yet looks NOT kraft.  not sure what i did when i took the photo!)
_____________________________________________________________
and then just some other layouts i've made in the past couple of days...
this is particularly a fav.  i had been stumped with what to do with those chipboard letters.  they were so cute, but i didn't really know what i wanted to use them for.  i love the way it turned out!
love this pic of my girl and a second cousin.
this is my middlest.  one of the hubs' cousins has a little boy just a few months younger than noah.  the two were the best of buds when we were at the farm in washington.  they had a blast!
i'm not sure i love this one.  it's the mist.  it was FINE before i misted it.  a little plain maybe... i should just leave those bottles alone unless i am coloring something with them!  mist & i were just NOT meant to be friends.  lol.
i've got a few more that are unphotographed & just don't feel like doing it.  plus a couple of cards.  oh well.  another time, eh?  :)  have a great week!

  2. The mist and I are definitely not friends...
Some people can totally rock the mist. I am not one of those people. ;)

  3. What a great group of layouts! I'm not sure about using mist either - I think it's one of those things that takes a ton of experimenting. But it's fun to keep trying.
